Medeo ice rink situated at the height of 1 691.2 meters above sea level is known around the world. It was built in 1972. The surface of the ice occupies 10 500 square meters, which allows conducting competitions of skating, hockey, and figure skating.
More than 120 world records have been set here by famous sports players. High-mountain skating rink is beautiful in any weather. You can admire its beauty from the high point at which you can rise by popular climbing stairs, built on a slope called Mokhnatka.
